The Mission
The mission of Sons of Norway is to promote and to preserve the heritage and culture of Norway, to celebrate our relationship with other Nordic Countries, and provide quality insurance and financial products to our members.
Our Next Meeting
Where and when we meet
Social meetings are held at St. John's Lutheran Church at 600 6th Ave Des Moines, IA on the third Tuesday of each month. Dinner meetings at 6:30 pm, other meetings at 7pm. Variations will be listed on this web site, Facebook and in the Marsteinen newsletter.
Mid Summer June Picnic. Our mid Summer picnic is coming up on June 20th. This is a catered event, that the lodge and lodge members are picking up the cost. Don't need to be a member, but we hope you would consider it. But you do need to RSVP, email to Sgivant@hotmail.com to RSVP and to get address. Please RVSP by June 9th. Plus there is a name the Viking challenge. This Viking carving is in the back yard.
